INTERIOR
All furniture, carpets and any other surfaces are completely covered where possible before work begins to ensure that the paints only go where they're supposed to.

Preparation.
With surfaces covered, loose filler from cracks is removed and then re-filled and sanded. If there has been any staining from water leaks etc, these are covered using an appropriate stain block. The ceilings and walls are then ready for the first of two coats of emulsion.

Emulsion and paintwork.
After the ceilings and walls have been emulsioned, the woodwork can be completed in either a satin, gloss or varnish finish. Any filling and rubbing down of surfaces would occur before the first and second coats.

Wallpaper.
If wallpaper is to be hung, then all emulsion and paintwork is finished first.
Lined walls are left to dry for 24 hours before wallpaper can be hung.

Finish.
After all of the work is complete, the sheets are removed. The finished room will be left clean and tidy, ready for you to get back to normal.
